The word of the day is "SPECIFIC," not to be confused with "Pacific." I could give you the list of definitions for each, but I encourage you to look them up, learn them, and never misuse them again in sentences such as, "I'll be there, but I can't give you a pacific time," or "I sat on the sand and looked out into the specific ocean."
The second sentence isn't really an example of a common mistake. I just wrote it because it makes me laugh.
